BAILEY BUILT, PLLC IN THE NEWS

George Bailey, AIA has been in the Architecture Profession for twenty years.  Throughout that time he has always tired to get involved and give back to his community through volunteer efforts related to the Profession and many outside the Profession.

 

George is serving as the Chairman for the City of Grosse Pointe Woods Planning Commission in Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan. George is also Board Member for the Grosse Pointe Historical Society.

 

He is also serving as a volunteer for the Grosse  Pointe Public School System.  He is currently a member - Board of Education - School Bond Oversight Committee, which is a group of community members appointed by the GPPSS Board of Education to oversee and ensure that Bond funds are being spent according to the School Bond issue that was passed in November 2018.  He is also a member of the Educational Programs Leadership Council (EPLC) which is a collaborative decision-making group of teachers, administrators, parents, community members, and students of the Grosse Pointe district which is charged with the responsibility of serving as an informed advocate of educational excellence.

Currently, George is a member of the American Institute of Architects, Detroit Chapter and a member of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB).
