Design Conceptualization for a renovation of a 340 room Hotel (currently the Camino Real) in El Paso, Texas.  The project would consist of renovating the entire building, including the portion of the building that was built in 1912 and is designated on the National Register of Historic Buildings.  Concepts have been developed to update the Main Lobby and associated public spaces, a Casual Dining Restaurant and outdoor patio bar, a Fine Dining Restaurant, a Lobby Bar with its Historic “tiffanyesque” glass dome, and the Ballroom and meeting spaces that exist in this convention hotel.  The number of Hotel rooms would be reduced to 200 rooms, while the remainder of the former hotel room floors would be converted to Luxury Corporate Apartments with separate amenities exclusive for tenants of the apartments.  The projected cost for this project is approximately $40 million.
